Sat, May 20, 2006 - 11:33 AMThe thing I find the most unfortunate thing about the genius that is Genesis is that the typical music lover does not know that he exists! I find it kind of disturbing that we NEVER hear about Genesis on MTV, VH1 or any other 'above ground' music source. MTV and the corporate music scene has left him in the dust, so that if you asked a teenager today where industrial music came from, they would not have a clue who Genesis or Throbbing Gristle was. It just irritates me the way they rewrite music history to fit their own needs and have this very dishonest history about underground art and music. But I suppose in another way it is good because it gives us more of an opportunity to keep him to ourselves!! haha!!
Yes -- Genesis is magickal, and so very aware. -
